Protect your pond!

Due to Mr Dowell’s love of frogs, we had to come up with some way of discouraging them from the lake in the back garden.

Our next product for Dragons Den is the “Mega Huge Frog Foot Print Psychological Deterrent”! May have to work on the name – is a work in progress.

This is around the size of my size 9 footprint (not that I just stood of spare pond liner and cut around it). It is a Frogtastic Psychological Deterrent! The thinking behind it goes …..

Little Jimmy frog was approaching a large lake and thought “That may make a nice new home for me”. Little Jimmy then spots the HUGE (frogs are small right!), foot print and then thinks “Better not go near it – a massive frog already lives there… better not go trespass on their turf, they might eat me” and so wanders of to find another place to live!

Bound to work!

Or it will attract another huge frog looking for a mate. Time will tell.

Man make fire!

Well it was sunny, we have no freezer, and a rusty bbq was sat at the end of the garden.

Even the “light me” bag of charcoal that had sat in the garage for 2 years “worked”.

Others took over the cooking duties once the flames had died down. Rust flavoured burger – yum!

More upgrades than windows!

Seems like a lot has been happening.

Inside, the southern wargames table and storage starts to take shape.

In the greenhouse its like green stuff everywhere. One day the red will start to show

Further down the garden, the pond/pool/here be frogs swamp land is taking shape, with the new mega bed development in the background

And with some of the spare (yes we did order twice as much as we needed!) pond liner, modifications have been made to the water feature. No more highly visible tube!
