Well I have the fan controller (all the shiny lights on the front) and the USB 3 fully functional, and its all dead quiet.  I checked (with an app on the phone – naturally) and its running around 45bB – well impressive.

The slightly noisy coolermaster currently clocks in around 85bB, so either some work need…or another new case!

After many years faithful service, my old coolermaster case has now been replaced.

BeQuiet Silent Base 800 now houses my aging kit.  It is a bit on the  huge size and I still have some work to do getting USB 3 on the case fully functional (no connector on motherboard) , and a fancy fan controller to control the 3 supplied fans (only one 3 pin fan power connector on motherboard).
