Either the building work has started or someone is looking for King Arthur’s tomb!

Either the building work has started or someone is looking for King Arthur’s tomb!

Three turns later. As the French push on around La-Haie farm, the boards have been moved back so our fight is concentrated on the central table.
The 2/30th managed to last until turn 29, where they were ridden down by Cuirassier after retreating from fire. They died to a man, and the cuirassier managed to “Rally”, in a position to take on elements of the Prussian 1st Corp who have been forced round to the road along the back wall. The Prussian 1st Cavalry Division is now fully on the table, the Prussian 1st Infantry Division is due to start arriving this turn.
The french are starting to push onto the ridge behind Papolette. Although the Prussian 1st Cavalry Division has started to arrive it has been slowed down by fleeing Nassau, not helped by the French Cuirassier breaking their second square of the day.
The solitary allied unit on the main tables remains the 2/30th Veterans in square. With heavy casualties and french fire, now with Cuirass to deal with, they may not make it past turn 28.
Big dice needed from Keith to save em. Even the Prince of Orange has turned up to help!
Not too far from the campsite

Is exhausting…

At the campsite in Newbury

With the destruction of the old camping setup (thats what a leaky garage does for ya!) – a new plan (and some time) was required. With my redundancy, time wasn’t an issue.
Over the last couple of days more wildlife has been spotted in/around the back. Glad we dont live behind the garage, who knows what lurks way down there! Probably crocs, lions and camels (pending).
We reckon, after consulting Haynes “Stuff that actually lurks in the garden”, that Sigourney is a female Sparrowhawk. Pretty sure the score is Sigourney 0 Spuggies 2.
